Obituary for Clarence J. June

Clarence Johnny June was born on the 7th of June 1945 to the Late Johnny B. June and Christell Williams June of Cordele, GA. He was raised and educated in Cordele, GA and relocated to New Jersey in his thirties.

Clarence began his life in New Jersey and started to work as a truck driver. He first drove for the Pathmark Corporation for ten years, then drove for fifteen years for WRJ, and finally went on to drive for Best Transportation. Clarence enjoyed his career as a truck driver until his health forced him to retire.

Clarence was very much a family man and a people person. He was a very devoted and loving father and grandfather. He was a friendly man who never turned his back on anyone and would help anyone he could. He also loved to laugh and would keep you laughing even if you were mad. He enjoyed going out to eat and he loved his scratch-offs. Clarence also had a special love for animals, especially dogs.

Clarence was a good man who loved life and he will be very missed by those who love him.

Clarence was preceded in death by: his sisters, Patricia Pope and Naomi Wallace; his brothers, Reverend Jim Hayes Jr. and J.B. June; and his children, Johnnie Mae and Brenda. He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Edwina Bivins (Thomas); stepchildren, Sherrie Moultrie of East Orange, New Jersey and Steven Moultrie of East Orange, New Jersey; his grandchildren, Kendall, Walton, Clarence, Esteema Precious, Andrea and Shanekia; and his step-grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephanie, Desmond, Soborah, Jacqueline, Jasmineen and Steven

Fegins of Fairburn, GA, Pastor Elizabeth Henderson (Harold), Stone Irene Hernandez and Annie Hayes of Cordele, GA:; brothers, Alonza Hayes (Lillie), Richard Hayes (Felicia) and Willie Fred Hayes all of Cordele, GA; Alphonzo Hayes (Jennifer) of Fayetteville, GA; a devoted niece, Shirley Johnson (Julius) who was raised in the same household as a sister; and a host of others.
