Obituary for David Yancey

David Yancey was born in Paterson, NJ. He was a resident of Newark, NJ of most of his life. He was baptized in The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of Apostolic Faith in Newark, NJ as a young child and has been a member ever since. Over the years, he has volunteered and served within the church. David found joy in testifying about the goodness and mercies of God and singing songs in worship.

As A young man, David stayed close to his mother, Mary Yancey. As an adult, he worked with various construction and home improvement projects. He also enjoyed traveling with his siblings and spending time with his family.

David joins to slumber in the Lord; his mother, Mary Yancey; his eldest sister, Edith Yancey; his baby brother, Billy Yancey; and his nephew, Darryl Yancey.

David leaves behind his sister; Diane Yancey (twin), Sarah Yancey, Delores Yancey and Arlene Yancey. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
