The Robert H. Miller Professional of the Year Award is the highest honor presented by the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, Inc. (NFD&MA). Named after Robert “Bob” H. Miller—who served as the association’s first General Secretary (1949–1970) and later Executive Secretary—this award recognizes outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and service within the funeral profession.
Awarded annually, Recipients are individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, elevated industry standards, and positively impacted both their local community and the broader funeral services profession.
