Obituary for Vickie Brown

Vickie Yvette Brown was born November 7, 1969 here in the city of Newark to John Brown and Vivian Mosley.

Vickie’s son Keith has a special message…

“It’s many words I could say about this beautiful queen that passed away…but the words I’m going to choose are love, respect, passion and courage, because she always stepped up for me and Isaiah. We couldn’t bear to see you like that on the 25th, it broke our hearts…we were not ready for you to go. I wanted you to be here and see Isaiah graduate. You will, (in spirit), your soul is a beautiful thing and I wouldn’t take that away from you because that’s what made you who you are. Always taking care of us. I that Charles White for keeping a high head and comforting us as he did. We found out how much we love both of you. You guys are the best mom and dad anyone could as for. Everything I do is for you and I promised you that I would make it somewhere and I will. Rest my queen, you can finally relax and watch you sons turn into men. I love you…”

Vickie leaves to cherish her memory: four siblings, Sherrie, Carlton, Debora and Yvonne; eight children Yvette, Andrew, John, Jalil, Denise, Talia, Isaiah, and Keith; Three grandchildren, Christina and the twins. Her significant other for over 20 years, Charles White along with Theresa, Chantal, Gloria, Makia and Christina. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Brown and Vivian Mosley, 1 brother Gerald McNeil, 1 sister Linda Mosley and son Tony. She will forever be missed by a host of relatives, cousins, and friends.
